Antiques and Garden Show of Nashville

Lots of great things are always happening around here.

The Antiques and Garden Show of Nashville is celebrating its 25th year.
It starts on Jan. 30 and goes thru Feb. 1st. (Something to do if you don't want to watch the Superbowl)

There will be many celebrated designers. Diane Keaton, actress, designer and author with make a special appearance and book signing.
Oscar de la Renta and his wife are honorary chairs.
Carolyn Englefield Interior Editor for Veranda Magazine.
Kreis Beal of Blackberry Farms, the luxury resort in Knoxville, and many more will share their knowledge of design.

I had a chance to get a sneak peek at the show and interview a panel of designers. I also got to hear about the StyleBlueprint app that was being launched. The app connects you to all the wonderful places to eat shop and play!

But now for the gorgeousness.......

 Look at this awesome chair!!

Makes me want to go home and moss everything!

Bedroom Makeover

Refreshed and Revamped
Great words to use for the new year.

I took a needed break from the store so I could be refreshed and revamped to be more productive this year. I feel very behind but once I get back in the groove it will be creativity city around here.

I started at home to help boost my mood.
I don't know about you but the grey days are too much when you live in a place that celebrates the winter season. This is the time of year when everything looks dull.

I needed a quick fix!

I started in my bedroom. I have a monochromatic look. Too much beige!
I really don't have the time for a complete bedroom makeover. So with a trip to Old Time Pottery and a focus on color and texture, I created a mini makeover by revamping and refreshing an old tired bedroom! It took only 15 minutes.

This can also be called makeover on a budget. Although I rarely buy bed sets in a bag, it was great for this quick fix. I got lucky and found this set during the Old Time Pottery white sale.
Now I have a look that is Revamped and Refreshed for under $50.

Working with textures makes things look richer. This set had 6 pieces. I used the patterns and textures of the pillows and built a pallet. Coordinating some of the hues and placing the colors around the room, made this all come together.

I am sharing this before and after makeover at the Old Time Pottery Blog! You won't believe the difference! I hope you head over and tell me what you think.
